Actor Yul Edochie has explained why he stopped posting his children with his estranged wife May on social media.
Speaking during an interview on the KaaTruths podcast, Yul dismissed claims that he has a strained relationship with his children. He said he remains in contact with them and continues to meet his responsibilities as a father.
“The reason why I don’t post anything about my kids with May is not because I don’t have a good relationship with them but because there’s a court order that says we must stop posting our kids. The fact of the matter is that I’m still in contact with my children and I still send my son money through their mother.”
The actor also spoke about the issues surrounding his marriage, declining to go into details about the situation between him and his estranged wife.
“The main issue is not on social media. I would rather not say anything. I don’t want to say my ex-wife did this, my ex-wife did that. Real men don’t tackle issues like that. It is all family stuff , nobody is perfect.”
Yul and May’s marriage became a subject of public discussion in 2022 after he announced actress Judy Austin as his second wife and revealed the birth of their child. The development drew widespread reactions online and was followed by a separation between the couple.
May later filed for divorce, and the matter has remained in court. The former couple share children together, while Yul has continued his relationship with Judy Austin, with whom he also has children.
