Fashion designer Veekee James has responded to a fan who criticised her two-piece outfit, calling it “not necessary” and “not fully Christian.”
The fan sent her a message on Snapchat saying, “That your two-piece dressing was not necessary. If you want to portray yourself as an image of Christ, embrace it fully.”
Veekee, who is expecting her first child with husband Femi Atere, replied, “You think it is me you will tell how to live my Christian life. I will not change who I am or how I serve my God, or how I express my faith. You think I have time for hypocrisy.”
She and Femi married in February 2024 in a high-profile wedding, which attracted attention on social media and entertainment news. The couple announced in early 2026 that they are expecting their first child.
Veekee has occasionally sparked discussion online through her comments on relationships, marriage, and personal boundaries.
