Celebrity fashion designer Veekee James and her husband, Femi Atere, have announced that they are expecting their first child together.
The news was shared on Tuesday by Veekee in a joint post with her husband on Instagram.
The post featured a video of Veekee visibly pregnant as she appeared with Atere in matching outfits. The caption read:

Veekee, who is widely known for her bridal and couture designs, got married to Atere in 2023. Their relationship and wedding ceremonies attracted significant public attention, with several media outlets covering the celebrations.
In late 2025, rumours had circulated online suggesting that the designer was pregnant after she appeared in videos and photos showing what fans believed was a baby bump. The couple, however, did not address the speculation at the time.
