Akwa Ibom State Governor Umo Eno has congratulated Udeme Ufot, group managing director of SO&U, on his birthday.
In a message issued by his chief press secretary Ekerete Udoh, the governor said Mr Ufot has contributed to advertising and brand communication.
He said the state and its people join Ufot’s family and associates to celebrate him.
“On behalf of the Government and people of Akwa Ibom State, I join your family, friends, and associates to celebrate you on this occasion,” he said.
Governor Eno said Ufot has continued to play a role in the industry and has represented Akwa Ibom State.
He also said the state appreciates his contributions and his involvement in initiatives that present the state and its people.
“You have held the banner of advertising and brand communication, and you have taken part in the industry and represented our State.
“We appreciate your contributions and services to Akwa Ibom State, and your commitment to initiatives that present the image and potential of our people,” the governor said.
The governor wished him good health, wisdom and more years of service.
Udeme Ufot was the chairman of the inaugural edition of the QEDNG Creative Powerhouse Summit held in 2025.
