Actress Uche Ogbodo has undergone a tummy tuck and Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) as a special birthday gift to herself.
The 38-year-old had earlier announced her plans on social media, revealing that she would be going under the knife for a tummy tuck procedure, which is often combined with a BBL for a more defined hourglass figure.
According to the actress, the surgery is part of her personal journey toward self-love and body confidence. She shared that the makeover was her gift to herself as she marks another year of life.
Giving fans an update on Sunday, Uche posted a video on Instagram showing her in recovery and reflecting on the process. She expressed gratitude to the medical team behind her transformation.
“1st phase Done & Dusted thank you Lord 🙏. I’m so grateful.
Thank you @drsanchezplastic & @heritagemedandspaa unah too much. Guys please go and tag these people massively to say thank you for everything,” she wrote.
On Monday, Uche returned to Instagram with another video flaunting her new shape while gushing over her doctor.
“My Doctor is the Bestest Abeg @drsanchezplastic you too much 😁😊😁 I can’t stop staring at my Apple bottom,” she added.
Uche now joins the growing list of Nigerian celebrities who have enhanced their bodies through cosmetic surgery. Some of the notable names include Toke Makinwa, Ini Edo, Mercy Eke, Nengi Hampson and Blessing CEO — all of whom have been open about undergoing procedures such as BBLs, liposuction and tummy tucks in recent years.
Many of them have cited body positivity, self-confidence and personal satisfaction as reasons for their decision.
