Music executive Ubi Franklin has declared support for President Bola Tinubu, stating his position in a post shared on X on Friday.
“Dear friends, it’s your constitutional right to support whoever you choose. I’m supporting Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu for President,” Franklin wrote.
He also endorsed political figures in Cross River State, backing Governor Bassey Otu, former governor Benedict Ayade for Cross River North Senatorial District, Asuquo Ekpenyong for Cross River South and Eteng Jones Williams.
The declaration followed his attendance at a political meeting held at the “Asiwaju Command Center,” where he shared photos showing him with associates including Seyi Tinubu.
Tinubu assumed office as Nigeria’s president in May 2023 after winning the general election. His administration has since faced public scrutiny over economic reforms, including fuel subsidy removal and currency changes.
