United Bank for Africa (UBA) says it will hold a special edition of its quarterly Business Series to focus on women leadership.

The event, with the theme “Gen W – The Evolved Woman,” will take place on March 12 at UBA House in Lagos.

According to the bank, the session will bring together women in business and media to discuss leadership, growth and opportunities.

Participants can attend the event in person or watch it online through UBA’s digital platforms.

Speakers at the event include entrepreneur Joycee Awosika, media personality Tomike Adeoye, entrepreneur Olufunke Davies and broadcaster Ayo Mario-Ese.

The session will be hosted by media personality and actor Tobi Bakre.

The speakers are expected to discuss their experiences in business and leadership.

Group head of marketing and corporate communications at UBA Alero Ladipo said the event reflects the bank’s support for women and their role in economic development.

“The modern African woman is evolving in many ways. Through this edition of the UBA Business Series, we want to celebrate women and create a platform for conversations around leadership, ambition and opportunity,” she said.

The UBA Business Series is a platform where entrepreneurs, professionals and business leaders discuss issues related to business and enterprise.

The bank says it serves more than 45 million customers.
