Transnational Corporation Plc (Transcorp Group) has announced its unaudited financial results for the third quarter of 2025, showing a 39% increase in revenue compared to the same period in 2024.

Revenue rose from N297.7 billion in Q3 2024 to N413.4 billion in Q3 2025.

Profit before tax grew by 18% to N124.5 billion from N105.5 billion in the same period last year, while profit after tax increased by 20.5% to N91.4 billion from N75.9 billion.

According to the company, all operating units recorded revenue growth.

The group attributed this to increased power generation capacity at its power plants and the expansion of its hospitality business through the 5,000-capacity Transcorp Centre Abuja.

Transcorp said it maintained a gross profit margin of 48%, supported by cost management and strategic pricing across its business units.

Chairman of Transcorp Group, Tony Elumelu, said the company’s performance reflected opportunities in the Nigerian economy.

He said Transcorp’s portfolio continued to give investors access to key sectors of the country’s growth potential.

“In power generation and distribution, we are closing the energy deficit in Nigeria, propelling national development,” he said.

“In hospitality, we are redefining excellence, with the landmark Transcorp Centre Abuja setting a new standard for world-class events.”

President and group CEO of Transcorp Plc, Owen Omogiafo, said the results showed the progress of the Group’s strategic direction and operational efficiency.

She said, “Driven by our core purpose to improve lives and transform Africa, we continue to optimise our businesses to deliver value. We are positioned to finish the year with strength and strategic momentum.”

Transcorp Group has investments in the power, hospitality and energy sectors.

Its power subsidiaries, Transcorp Power Plc and Transafam Power, provide over 20% of Nigeria’s installed power capacity.

Its hospitality business includes Transcorp Hotels Plc, which owns Transcorp Hilton Abuja and the Transcorp Centre Abuja.
