Actress Toyosi Adesanya and her husband Bola Oyinadejobi have welcomed a baby girl through surrogacy.
Her junior colleague, Biola Adebayo, shared the news on Instagram, revealing that the couple welcomed their baby girl through a surrogate. Biola expressed gratitude to everyone who had been part of the journey since 2024 and expressed excitement that Toyosi is finally a mother.
She wrote:
“I am a godmother again!!! Congratulations to all of us! @officialadesanyatoyosi and @bola_oyinadejust welcomed a bouncing baby girl through their surrogate mom. We want to say a very big thank you to everyone who has been part of this journey since 2024, particularly our doctor, Dr Ivie of @the_fertility_doctor. Thank you for everything, doctor… you’ve been very supportive from day one of this journey. May God continue to bless you and yours. Aunty Toyosi is officially a mom today. My heart is full of gratitude.”
Toyosi is known for her work in the Yoruba film industry and her presence on social media, where she connects with fans. The birth comes after years of struggles with pregnancy. In past interviews, she has shared her experiences with pregnancy losses and failed in‑vitro fertilisation attempts before turning to surrogacy.
