Actress Toyin Adegbola, popularly known as Toyin Tomato, has expressed excitement at the thought of working again with her colleague Sola Sobowale.

On Thursday, Toyin shared a picture of herself with Sola on Instagram, saying she could not wait for another collaboration between the two of them.

The post drew quick reactions from fellow entertainers.

Actress Bimpe Akintunde described them as “my mothers” while Faithia Williams responded with heart-eyed emojis.

Toyin and Sola have a history of working together. Both featured in the 1992 Yoruba classic Asewo to Re Mecca, a film that earned Adegbola the nickname Toyin Tomato.

Sola, on the other hand, became widely known as Toyin Tomato after her role in Wale Adenuga’s TV drama Super Story: Oh Father, Oh Daughter.

Over the years, Sola Sobowale has gone on to star in blockbuster productions such as The Wedding Party and King of Boys, while Toyin Adegbola has remained a force in the Yoruba movie industry with appearances in several hit films.
