According to Wale Adenuga Jnr., the new season is expected to draw viewers in from the start.
“In addition to the great production design and the multiple celebrities in it, the programme stands strong on the foundation of a very fascinating story, which is authentically African and relatable to viewers of all ages. After Superstory recently won the ‘TV Drama of the Year’ award at the Nigeria Media Merit Awards (NMMA), we promised something extra special, and here it is,” he said.
He added that episodes of Superstory: Game Boys would air weekly to audiences across Nigeria and other parts of Africa.
Superstory, created by Wale Adenuga, is one of Nigeria’s longest running television dramas. It is known for telling socially relevant stories that address everyday issues such as crime, family, relationships and moral choices.
The series has maintained a strong following over the years, with past seasons like Oh Father Oh Daughter and My Life My Pain gaining wide viewership on terrestrial television.
