Actress Toyin Adewale has dismissed reports that her son, singer Mayorkun, lost his home to a fire incident.
A report from Goldmyne circulated online claiming that the singer’s Lagos residence caught fire on Saturday night after an explosion, with suggestions that he and his family narrowly escaped.
Reacting on Instagram on Sunday, Toyin questioned the credibility of the report and criticised those behind it for failing to verify the information before publishing.
“Goldmyne, why would you do this?
Don’t you verify your news before posting?
This is seriously unfair.
Anyway, I leave whoever supplies you with this bad news to God.
My family and I will never cry, nor sorrow, nor evil shall befall us IJN.
Please, Goldmyne, learn to do better.
And to my family and friends, I say thank you so much for the calls and messages.
I sincerely appreciate.
“Amen, Amen, and Amen IJN
