Actress Toyin Abraham has reached a major box office milestone with her latest movie, Oversabi Aunty.
Distribution company FilmOne Entertainment announced on Instagram that the film has grossed N950,781,820 in cinemas, placing it among the most successful Nollywood releases.
Sharing the update, FilmOne wrote, “Thank you our Oversabi West Africans🤭🥳
You showed up and the numbers tell the story.
“Oversabi Aunty hits N950,781,820 at the box office and counting, maintaining its position as one of the top two box office titles of the weekend and the fourth highest grossing Nollywood film of all time.
“We are only able to do this because of you. Thank you so much 💜

Reacting to the achievement, Toyin Abraham expressed gratitude and excitement on her Instagram page. She wrote, “Feels like a dream🥹🥹 Thank you JESUS. Thank you everyone, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you. Oversabi Aunty is still showing in cinemas.”
Oversabi Aunty was released in cinemas nationwide in December 2025 following an advanced screening a day earlier. The film tells the story of a well meaning but overly involved church usher whose attempts to fix the lives of people around her lead to a series of events filled with humour and drama.
Written, directed and produced by Toyin Abraham, the movie features a large cast including Mike Ezuruonye, Efe Irele, Queen Nwokoye, Jemima Osunde, Enioluwa Adeoluwa, Tana Adelana and Toyin Afolayan, among others.
Since its release, Oversabi Aunty has remained a strong box office performer, ranking among the top titles of the weekend and securing its place as the fourth highest grossing Nollywood film of all time.
