Filmmaker Toyin Abraham broke down in tears at the premiere of her movie Oversabi Aunty.
The event held on Sunday, November 14, at IMAX Cinema, Lekki, Lagos.
The premiere was star-studded, with several actors and entertainment figures turning up to support the actress. Among those present were Adesua Etomi, Iyabo Ojo, Juma Jux, Priscillia Ojo, Dayo Amusa, Mike Ezurounye, Odunlade Adekola, Lola Idije, Muyiwa Ademola, Nkechi Blessing, Bisola Aiyeola, Imisi and Mercy Eke.
Toyin Abraham, who was overwhelmed by the support she received from her colleagues, friends and fan, was visibly emotional, breaking down in tears.
Oversabi Aunty is a comedy-drama directed by Toyin Abraham. The film centres on an auntie whose overconfidence and tendency to interfere in other people’s matters lead to humorous and unexpected situations.
The movie is scheduled to be released in cinemas nationwide on December 19.
