Business mogul Tony Elumelu has celebrated the academic achievement of his triplet daughters who recently graduated from high school.
The UBA chairman shared photos of the joyous moment on Instagram on Sunday. The carousel post featured him, his wife Awele Elumelu and their daughters dressed in graduation gowns.
“Congratulations to our #TOETriplets on their high school graduation 🎓 and prize awards. Next stop, Uni!” he captioned the post.
Elumelu and his wife have seven children. While their names are not publicly known, the Elumelus occasionally share family moments online, often during birthdays or milestones like this.
Although the business tycoon did not reveal the universities the girls will be attending, many of his followers, including public figures and fans, flooded the comment section with congratulatory messages.
Tony Elumelu, 61, is the founder of the Tony Elumelu Foundation, a non-profit organisation known for supporting thousands of entrepreneurs across Africa. He is also the chairman of Heirs Holdings and Transcorp.
His wife Awele is a medical doctor and one of the directors at the United Bank for Africa (UBA), where Tony serves as group chairman.
The couple has been married for over two decades and are known for keeping a low profile despite their prominence in Nigeria’s business and philanthropy space.
