Afrobeats singer Tiwa Savage has responded to trolls on social media, suggesting she should stop making music and instead focus on business or marriage.

The troll commented on her Instagram post on Wednesday, advising her to step away from the spotlight, saying she had already enjoyed her youthful years and should now focus on investing and settling down.

“Tiwa, your time has passed. Get married and settle down.”

Tiwa responded with a short, dismissive remark: “Okay, NEXTT.”

Another follower added, “Tiwa, if I were you, I would stop singing not because your music isn’t good, but because it’s high time you used the money you have to venture into business or genuine investment. You had a wonderful and fun youthful age and time.”

In response, Tiwa confidently dismissed the suggestion, stating:

I’ve got money and investments, no stress. My youthful years are just getting started.”

Her quick, no-nonsense replies have since gone viral, with fans applauding her for standing her ground and refusing to let public pressure dictate her choices.

Earlier this year, Tiwa Savage opened up during an interview about her views on Nigerian men in a romantic context. She revealed that the type of men who approach her are far from what she’s looking for.

“I want a guy like Skepta, but I keep getting funny-looking men,” she said.

Skepta, whose real name is Joseph Adenuga, is a British-Nigerian rapper, songwriter and record producer known for his impact on the UK grime scene and international collaborations.

Tiwa Savage married Tunji Balogun, popularly known as Teebillz.

The couple held their traditional wedding ceremony on November 23, 2013, at The Ark in Lekki, Lagos. Their white wedding took place on April 26, 2014, at the luxurious Armani Hotel in Dubai. On January 1, 2015, the couple announced that they were expecting their first child. Six months later, Savage gave birth to a baby boy named Jamil Balogun.

However, the marriage faced public challenges. On April 28, 2016, Teebillz took to social media to accuse Tiwa of infidelity and alleged that her mother was involved in witchcraft.
