Afrobeats singer Tiwa Savage marked her 46th birthday on Thursday as fans across social media celebrated her music career and some of her most popular songs.

The mother-of-one, born Tiwatope Savage on February 5, 1980, gained mainstream attention with her debut single ‘Kele Kele Love’ and has remained a prominent figure in Nigerian music since then. Fans used the occasion to highlight songs that shaped her career, including tracks from her debut album Once Upon a Time as well as later projects such as R.E.D, Celia and the Water & Garri EP.

Savage began her music journey as a backup vocalist and songwriter before returning to Nigeria to pursue her career fully.
