Bola Tinubu

President Bola Tinubu has postponed his planned trip to Iperu, Ogun State and will instead travel to Jos following recent attacks.

In a statement issued on Wednesday by his special adviser on information and strategy Bayo Onanuga, the president said he will visit Plateau State to commiserate with the government and residents over the killings.

President Tinubu was earlier scheduled to visit Iperu to flag off operations at the Gateway International Cargo Airport.

After the visit to Plateau, the president will travel to Lagos to observe Good Friday.

He is expected to return to Ogun State on April 4 for the commissioning of the cargo airport and the inauguration of two commercial aircraft for export and import.

Tinubu will also inaugurate the new building of the Federal Operations Unit of the Nigerian Customs Service and its operational vehicles.

He will return to Lagos for the Easter period, where he is expected to commission projects carried out by the administration of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.

The projects include the Ojota/Opebi Link Bridge, the Lagos State Geographic Information System building, a multi-agency complex and a school complex.

The president is also scheduled to visit Bayelsa State on April 10 to commission projects completed by Duoye Diri.

He is expected to return to Abuja after the visit.
