President Bola Tinubu has met with French President Emmanuel Macron at the Elysee Palace in Paris.
Special adviser to the President on information and strategy, Bayo Onanuga, shared pictures of the two leaders on X on Wednesday, noting that they held a working private lunch.
“President Bola Tinubu, with his French counterpart, President Emmanuel Macron, during a working private lunch at the Elysee Palace, Paris. Wednesday, September 10, 2025”, he wrote.
The Presidency said the engagement was part of Tinubu’s 10-day working vacation in Europe, which will see him spend time in France and the United Kingdom.
His last foreign trip was to Japan and Brazil in August, where he attended the Ninth Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD9) and later held bilateral talks in Brasília.
