President Bola Tinubu has sent a message to journalist Babajide Kolade-Otitoju on his 60th birthday.

In a statement issued on Saturday by his special adviser on information and strategy Bayo Onanuga, the president said Mr Kolade-Otitoju has contributed to journalism and the country.

He said the journalist has worked in both print and broadcast media and has remained active in public affairs reporting.

Kolade-Otitoju began his career with the Democrat newspaper in Kaduna between 1991 and 1992.

He later joined TheNews Group in 1993 as a staff member and reported from Kano.

He went on to work with Pm News and The News magazine before joining Television Continental, where he is director of news and anchor of Journalists Hangout.

President Tinubu said Kolade-Otitoju has continued to speak on public issues and contribute to media work.

“I congratulate Otitoju on attaining the age of 60. I commend him for his services to his profession and Nigeria. I wish him more years and continued service,” the president said.
