Actors and siblings Timini and Dakore Egbuson have lost their father, Samuel Egbuson.
On Sunday, Timini announced the death while sharing photos of his father on Instagram. Alongside the pictures he wrote: “Didn’t think I’ll start the year saying this … Rest in peace Dad 🕊️ So much left unsaid but I’ll keep making you proud.”
Timini Egbuson is an actor from Bayelsa State. He is known for roles in television and films including Shuga, Elevator Baby, Fifty, Skinny Girl in Transit and Manhunting with Mum.
He began his career with a role on the soap opera Tinsel and has won awards for his work, including the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Award for Best Actor in a Drama.
He studied psychology at the University of Lagos and has built a career in acting since 2010. Timini is the younger brother of actress Dakore Egbuson-Akande, a prominent figure in the Nigerian film industry.
At the time of his father’s death, Timini is unmarried and continues to work in film and television. His career spans over a decade, and he remains active in Nigerian entertainment.
