TikToker recounts ordeal in Panti after false HIV claim against Dayo Amusa

Tiktoker Olas has recounted his experience in detention after making a false claim that actress Dayo Amusa is HIV positive.

In a video making rounds on Tuesday, Olas said he was locked up for two days. “It was the worst experience of my life since the death of my mother,” he recalled.

“When I entered the cell, one of the rugged-looking guys told me to prostrate and greet them. The cell had no furniture, only four pit latrines and an uncovered window where mosquitoes kept entering,” he said.

“They told me I was lucky because that was the best cell. If it had been the second cell, I would have been beaten because there was no camera or light there,” he explained.

The content creator also revealed that he shared the cell with about 60 inmates who said it was the same facility where singer Naira Marley was once detained.

“Fortunately for me, one of the cell leaders recognised me because he follows me on TikTok. He gave me a bunk to sleep on and spared me maltreatment,” he added.

Olas expressed gratitude to the actress for withdrawing the case. “I want to thank Aunty Dayo Amusa for forgiving me. If not that she changed her mind, I would have been there for a long time. I don’t pray to ever sleep in a cell again.”

Dayo Amusa had earlier vowed to make him a scapegoat but later forgave him. “CASE CLOSED. To err is human, to forgive is divine. Making mistakes is a natural and inherent part of being human, they say. LET’S BE GUIDED.”
