Media personality Toyosi Etim-Effiong has penned a heartwarming tribute to her husband, actor Daniel Etim-Effiong, as he turned a year older on Tuesday.
Toyosi shared intimate photos of their moments together on Instagram, accompanied by a loving message expressing deep admiration and gratitude for the Skinny Girl in Transit star.
“Happy Birthday to the Etim Effiong in Toyosi Etim-Effiong! My life is brighter, richer, fuller and more meaningful with you in it Daniel ☺️,” she wrote.
“Thank you for being a garment of radiance over me!! Thank you for being the scriptural definition of Husband, Father, Brother and Friend ♥️ I love you fiercely!! Happy Birthday love 🥳🥰.”
In a more spiritual tone, Daniel marked his birthday on Instagram with a Bible verse from Exodus 33:15-16 (NLT), underlining the importance of God’s presence in his life.
“Then Moses said, ‘If you don’t personally go with us, don’t make us leave this place. How will anyone know that you look favorably on me—on me and on your people—if you don’t go with us? For your presence among us sets your people and me apart from all other people on the earth.’ Happy Birthday Daniel 🥳,” he wrote.
This isn’t the first time Toyosi has publicly praised her husband. In several past interviews and social media posts, she has spoken fondly of their marriage, often highlighting his support.
In 2022, Toyosi credited Daniel for encouraging her to pursue a career in storytelling and film production. “He challenged me to step out of my comfort zone,” she said in an interview with The Guardian.
In another Instagram post shared in August 2021, Toyosi wrote, “Every woman needs a Daniel. A man who will cover you, pray with you, push you to grow, and celebrate you out loud.”
The couple got married in 2017. They share two children.
