Tems, whose name is Temilade Openiyi, gained international attention following her appearance on Wizkid’s hit song ‘Essence,’ which helped introduce her to a wider global audience.
Her rise has been boosted by major collaborations, including work with Drake and Future on the Grammy-winning song ‘Wait for U.’ She has also earned recognition for her solo work and songwriting contributions on international projects.
In 2024, Tems released her debut album Born in the Wild, which received positive reviews and charted in several countries.
She has won multiple awards, including two Grammy Awards, cementing her place as one of the leading Nigerian artistes on the global stage.
