Singer Tems’ team has denied claims that the singer is working on a song with rapper Odumodublvck.
The rumour began after a video shared online showed Odumodublvck in a recording studio with Tems and her manager.
In the clip, the rapper is heard working on music while Tems and her team are in the room. Some posts on social media suggested the footage meant a new collaboration was underway.
Fans quickly started talking about a possible joint project.
The Nigerian Barz Association, an online music group, drew attention to the video with a caption saying the collaboration “will not see the light of day.”
Tems’ manager, Muyiwa Adeniyi, gave a response on social media.
He said Tems was not recording music with Odumodublvck and that her visit was informal.
According to him, Tems had called to ask what he was doing in the studio and then came by to hang out. “Wasn’t a collab. This was the technician session,” he wrote. “She called me to ask what I was doing and I asked her to pull up just to hang for a bit. Don’t bring my artist into trash conversations abeg.”
Tems is one of Nigeria’s successful music artistes. She has won Grammy Awards and worked with international stars through her growing career.
Odumodublvck is also a leading figure in the Nigerian music scene, known for hit songs such as ‘Declan Rice’. He remains active in rap and hip‑hop despite public feuds with other artistes in recent years.
