Actors Dele Odule, Ronke Odusanya, Bimbo Oshin, Dupe Jaiyesinmi and Ebun Oloyede have paid a condolence visit to their colleagues Peju Ogunmola and Sunday Omobolanle aka Papi Luwe at their home in Ibadan, Oyo State.
QEDng reported that Peju lost her only child Ayomikun on Tuesday.
The tragic news was announced by actress Biola Adebayo who described the loss as “devastating and heartbreaking.”
Pictures from the visit showed the actors in a sombre mood.
Ayomikun, 24, died just two months after completing his National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).
Tributes have continued to pour in from Nollywood stars.
Odunlade Adekola prayed that God would console Peju and her family, while Femi Adebayo described the tragedy as a heavy line “too much for the stage to bear,” praying Ayomikun eternal rest.
Toyin Abraham, Muyiwa Ademola, Adedimeji Lateef, Jide Kosoko and others also expressed their condolences online.
Peju Ogunmola is the daughter of the late dramatist Kola Ogunmola and sister to actor Yomi Ogunmola.
She is married to comic veteran Papi Luwe and is stepmother to actor Sunkanmi Omobolanle.
