The widow of Taiwo Adegbodu broke down in tears during a service of songs held in his honour in Ibadan.
Family members, friends, colleagues and close associates gathered on Monday for the wake-keep and service of songs for the gospel singer.
In a viral video from the event, his wife was seen weeping as someone held onto her for support.
Among those present were gospel musicians Yinka Ayefele and Woli Agba.
Taiwo died on Sunday, March 1. His death was announced on social media and confirmed by his twin Kehinde Adegbodu.
He was one half of the Adegbodu Twins, a gospel duo he formed with his twin brother Kehinde. The pair were known for their performances at churches and gospel events, especially within the Yoruba gospel scene.
