Jummai Abubakar, the last surviving wife to late Prime Minister of Nigeria, Abubakar Tafawa Balewa, has died at age 85.
A granddaughter to the late prime minister, Hajara Wanka, confirmed the death to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Sunday night.

Hajara disclosed that the deceased died at 4 pm on Sunday in Lagos, following cardiac arrest, leaving behind eight children and many grandchildren.
She said that the deceased had recently returned from a two-week medical trip in India.
According to her, the corpse will be brought to Bauchi on Monday for burial.
