Singer Oludipe David, popularly known as Spyro, has announced his engagement weeks after he was spotted allegedly kissing a mystery lady.
On Instagram on Friday, the ‘Who Is Your Guy?’ crooner shared pictures from the proposal with the caption:
“On the 30th of march 2024 my world paused as i found love in an unexpected plc at exactly 2:48am 😊 I met the answer to my prayers @_callme_njure in a Lagos Club while at work and from then till now I have lived every single day a very happy man 😊
“Thank you for saying YES my sweet J 😍 I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you ❤️”
The engagement comes weeks after a viral video circulated online allegedly showing Spyro kissing and smooching a lady in a restaurant. The clip, which was not very clear, stirred reactions on social media, with some fans insisting the man looked like Spyro while others argued it could have been someone else. The singer himself never confirmed if he was the one in the video.
Spyro, born October 1, 1990, is known for songs such as ‘Billing’ and ‘Who Is Your Guy?’. He has also been previously linked to reality star Nengi, although he never confirmed the relationship.
