Anambra State governor Charles Soludo has received Evangelist Ebuka Obi, spiritual leader of Zion Prayer Movement Outreach, at the Government House, Awka.
In a post shared on his X handle on Saturday, governor Soludo confirmed that Evangelist Obi visited him on Friday.
He explained that his meeting with the cleric followed the commissioning of a psychiatric hospital and an old people’s home in Aguleri, both built by the Seraphic Foundation, the charity arm of Zion Ministry.
The governor wrote, “I received Evangelist Ebuka Obi of the Zion Ministry at the Light House, Awka. I was on ground earlier to commission the free Psychiatric Hospital and old people’s home built in Aguleri by the Seraphic Foundation, the charity arm of the Zion Ministry. Evangelist Ebuka Obi has demonstrated the true essence of Christianity by this very act.”
Soludo added that his administration looked forward to working with the ministry to support the poor and vulnerable in the state.
“While on earth, we must do the work of God. May Anambra continue to win,” he said.
A video posted by the governor also showed Obi addressing a gathering after his visit to the Government House.
The cleric remarked that he had never seen such a government edifice before, referring to the newly built Government House in Awka.
