Shaffy Akinrimisi was born on October 8, 1970. She spent her early years in the United States, where she completed her education before returning to Nigeria to pursue a career in entertainment.

Before Nollywood discovered her talent, Shaffy made her mark in music. She was the female voice on Seyi Sodimu’s 1997 hit song ‘Love Me Jeje,’ a track that remains one of Nigeria’s classic love tunes.
