Simi reveals that she is studying to become a music producer

Singer-songwriter, Simi, has disclosed that she has been taking classes to learn how to produce music.

The 31-year-old musician made this known via Instagram on Monday.

“So, I’ve been taking production classes. One of my goals this year. So yea…thank God,” she wrote in parts.

She also shared a snippet of the first beat she has made since she started studying.

Earlier in May, Simi, had parted ways with X3M Music after her contract with the record label expired.

Simi joined X3M Music in 2014. She immediately warmed hearts with the hit single ‘Tiff’ which earned her a Headies nomination.

Her first album for X3M, Simisola, was released to local and international acclaim in September 2017, and named album of the year in 2018 by The Headies Awards.

She released her final album for X3M, Omo Charlie Champagne, on April 19, 2019.
