Seun Oloketuyi to host Obasanjo, Osoba at premiere of new movie EXCO

Founder of the Best of Nollywood (BON) Awards, Seun Oloketuyi, is set to host former President Olusegun Obasanjo and former Ogun State Governor Aremo Osoba at the premiere of his new movie, EXCO.

The exclusive premiere of the political drama will be held on October 15, 2025, at Alliance Française, Mike Adenuga Centre, Lagos.

The event is expected to bring together key figures from politics and entertainment, underscoring the film’s engagement with Nigeria’s national discourse.

Also expected at the premiere are the publisher of Ovation Magazine, Dele Momodu; Deputy Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Moji Ojora-Meranda; Senator Babajide Omowoware; Lagos State Commissioner for the Environment and Water Resources, Tokunbo Wahab; and Lagos State Commissioner for Tourism, Arts and Culture, Toke Benson-Awoyinka.

According to the organisers, their attendance reaffirms EXCO’s standing as a must-see socio-political commentary.

Directed by Director Mo, EXCO is described as a sharp, well-developed political drama that explores the conflicts and resolutions within the corridors of power. The film examines moral ambiguities and gives audiences a closer look at the motivations behind political decisions.

The cast includes Deyemi Okanlawon, Jide Kosoko, Bimbo Akintola, Ronke Oshodi-Oke, Scarlet Gomez, Femi Branch, Lizzy Jay, Olarotimi Fakunle, Nobert Young, Patrick Doyle and Kunle Coker.

Oloketuyi, known for producing Blogger’s Wife and Wetin Women Want, said EXCO continues his passion for storytelling that provokes reflection and conversation.
