Afrobeat musician Seun Kuti has narrated a frightening experience involving a stray bullet that hit his hotel room while he was in the United States.
In a video shared on Instagram on Sunday, the 42-year-old showed the damage done by the bullet, which pierced through the window of his room.
Reacting to the incident, the singer expressed disbelief, noting that it happened in a country often described as “civilised.”
“I read somewhere that these are the civilized people. Tell me you are in America without telling me you are in America. I am in my hotel room just chilling and boom this happened,” he said.
Seun, the youngest son of Afrobeat legend Fela Kuti, did not disclose the specific city where the incident occurred.
