Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu, wife of Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on Monday, addressed the issue of fraudulent social media accounts opened in her name.
On her unverified Twitter page, Mrs Sanwo-Olu shared her handles across all social media platforms including Facebook and Instagram.
The governor’s wife said she has reported the fake account opened in her name Dr. (Mrs.) Claudiana Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu to the authorities, calling on the public to take note of her original handles.
She said, “The attention of the Office of Lagos State First Lady is once again drawn to the existence of parody social media accounts opened and being operated in the name of the Office and the First Lady, Dr. (Mrs.) Claudiana Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu by criminal elements.
“Whilst this has been reported to the appropriate authorities, the general public is hereby invited to note the Official Social Media handles of the Office as contained in this post.”
