Music producer and singer Samklef has reacted to singer Crayon’s public criticism of Don Jazzy and Mavin Records.

Crayon took to X with posts accusing Don Jazzy and the label of withholding royalties and failing to settle financial matters.

Some messages, later deleted, linked his mother’s death to the situation. He wrote, “Don jazzy na my boy!!!!!! Una dey maddddd!!?? Shayennnnn sharayyyyyy333,” and later claimed, “Mavin is going down!!!!!!” and “You stole my star from me.”

Other deleted posts included, “Una collected 200 million dollars, no give me shishi!!” and “My mama died because of una!!” Crayon’s accusations sparked debates online, though Mavin Records has not officially responded. Crayon joined the label in 2019 and appeared on the compilation album Chapter X in 2022.

Reacting to the controversy, Samklef suggested changes in the label’s environment affected its artistes.

He wrote: “I tell una say jazzy go cast soon!
Dem don see Don Jazzy finish crayon even call am his boy chai! Ever since Don Jazzy met a very dark man, all the signed artists no gree blow. Ayrastar look stressed in her last video. Something is not right. Could this be karma?…”

Crayon’s X account remains active with fans reacting to his posts, but no formal statement has come from Mavin Records or Don Jazzy as of this report.
