Actor Chigozie Nwoye has said that veteran actor Sam Loco did not own a house when he died.
He shared this during an interview with NetNollyFilm.
Nwoye, who attended Sam Loco’s burial in Benin City, Edo State, said: “He had no house of his own. It was the government of Edo state under Oshiomole that built a house for Sam Loco.”
Sam Loco was a stage and film actor with a career spanning over three decades. He was known for his comic roles and appeared in many Nollywood films, including Ukwa, Tom and Jerry, and Owo Blow.
He died on August 7, 2011, at age 65. He was found in a hotel room in Owerri, Imo State, where he had been editing a film. Staff opened the room after he did not respond to calls the following morning.
