Socialite Sam Larry has reacted to a claim that he gave singer Davido a 24-hour ultimatum to apologise to Wizkid.
The claim was made by X user who quoted Sam Larry’s alleged words writing, “You have 24 hours to apologize to Wizkid – Sam Larry sends strong message to Wizkid.”
Responding in an Instagram story on Thursday, Sam Larry reposted a post, debunking the claim.
“This is fake story. Samlarry never post such thing. Stop posting fake rumours about samlarry,” the post read.
Davido and Wizkid have been engaging in a war of words since the week began.
The fight started when Wizkid on Monday uploaded a diss video of Davido in what appeared to be a subtle mock at the 30BG boss.
Davido, on Monday evening, then took to the X platform to tweet what seemed a subtle dig at the Grammy winner, stating that his songs are no longer recognised.
Amid Davido’s series of posts, Wizkid wrote: “U know what..no point. delusional niggas pray for y’all”.
Davido then directly quoted the Wizkid’s post, labeling him a “sick man” in response to Wizkid’s earlier remark about them being delusional.
