Singer and performer Ashny on Sunday hosted a musical and brand showcase at the Mike Adenuga Centre, Ikoyi, Lagos.
The event, titled Ashny’s Unboxed Live: The Official Presentation of FemalePreneur, brought together music, performance and brand presentation.
It was hosted by comedian and musician Koffi Idowu-Nuel, known as Koffi.
Guests at the event included comedian Mandy Uzonitsha, singer and dancer Yinka Davies, veteran singer Salawa Abeni and her son, rapper Sheriff Ilori, also known as Big Sheff.
Others in attendance were comedian Chioma Omeruah, known as Chigul, saxophonist Temilayo Abodunrin, actress Elvina Ibruh and other industry figures.
Born Ashionye Edike, Ashny is a singer, songwriter, actress and fashion designer from Delta State.
She began her music career in 2013 and has released several singles, EPs and albums that blend pop, Afropop and Afrosoul.
Earlier this year, she released a double EP following her sophomore album Femme Fatale.
Her latest project, FemalePreneur, is positioned as a music and brand offering focused on women.
The Mike Adenuga Centre, which houses the Alliance Française de Lagos, regularly hosts cultural and entertainment events.
