Actress Faithia Williams has spoken about her relationship with ex-husband Saidi Balogun, saying it remains cordial despite their separation.
The discussion came during a video shared online following the recent death of her mother.
Addressing long-standing questions about her relationship with Saidi, Faithia described their bond as one built on “mutual respect and shared responsibilities.”
“He’s my ex, my child’s father, and my colleague,” she said, noting that despite their separation, they maintain contact due to their careers in the same industry and their shared parenting duties.
“He’s a wonderful father,” Faithia added, showing that their connection has continued beyond the confines of marriage.
Looking forward, the actress made it clear that her past relationship will not limit her future.
“He can’t stop me from marrying again,” she stated. She expressed optimism about love, affirming, “If I meet the right person, I’ll marry again.”
Faithia and Saidi were married in the early 2000s and were regarded as a notable couple in the Yoruba film industry at the time. Their marriage later ended, after which both continued their careers in Nollywood. They share children together and have remained in contact over the years, often appearing together at industry events and family occasions.
