Actor Saidi Balogun has joined his ex‑wife Faithia Williams at the wake‑keep of her mother, Gloria Williams, in Ikorodu, Lagos State.
Videos shared on social media on Friday show Saidi arriving at the venue and later seated beside Faithia during the ceremony, offering his support.
Faithia lost her mother in early February. Her mother died shortly before her 55th birthday. Faithia described Mrs Williams as her “cheerleader, prayer warrior, best friend and gist partner.”

The wake‑keep, which started on Friday, will be followed by the interment and lying‑in‑state on Saturday, March 7. A Thanksgiving Mass is planned for Sunday, March 8, at St. Monica Catholic Church in Lagos.
Faithia thanked friends, colleagues and fans for their condolences and support since her mother’s death. She said the ceremonies are private and limited to invited close friends and relatives, with a larger public memorial to be announced later.
