Actor Richard Mofe-Damijo (RMD) has marked 25 years of marriage with his wife, Jumobi Adegbesan.
Taking to Instagram on Monday, the 64-year-old shared pictures of himself and his wife with the caption:
“25 years na your mate? Even if na beans, to cook am nor easy o. Oghene is involved if not where we for Dey? To expanded horizons!”
RMD and Jumobi got married on December 29, 2000. They first met in the late 1990s and dated before tying the knot. Their union has grown over the years and is blessed with children.
This is RMD’s second marriage. His first wife, journalist and publisher May Ellen Mofe-Damijo, also known as MEE, died in 1996 after complications from surgery.
Over their 25 years together, the couple have observed their anniversaries quietly on social media and in private family moments.
The actor rose to prominence in the late 1980s and has appeared in hundreds of Nigerian films. He is also a lawyer and has served in public office, including a tenure as Commissioner for Culture and Tourism in Delta State.
