Rest on Prophet TB Joshua, Evelyn Joshua pens tribute to husband four years after death

Leader of the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN), Pastor Evelyn Joshua, has paid tribute to her late husband, Prophet TB Joshua, four years after his death.

In a heartfelt post shared on her Instagram page on Thursday, Evelyn posted a commemorative image of the late televangelist and accompanied it with a message.

“PROPHET TB JOSHUA: FOUR YEARS ON…

“On June 5, 2021, God called home His illustrious servant, Prophet Temitope Balogun Joshua, the General Overseer of The Synagogue, Church Of All Nations – SCOAN.

“Although our hearts were heavy with the pain of loss, we took solace in knowing that everything happens at God’s appointed time.

“Four years on, the exemplary life of Prophet TB Joshua continues to inspire millions across the world – beyond barriers of creed, colour and character.

“Four years on, his legacy of faith, love and charity suffices to supplant vice with virtue, hunger with fullness, and lack with abundance.

“Four years on, we can confirm that the age of miracles has not passed!

“Today, we celebrate a worthy General in the Army of Salvation.

“Thank You, Lord, for helping Your servant to finish well!

“Rest on, Prophet TB Joshua!”

His disciples including Prophetess Anne and Yinka and Wise Man John Chi, have also joined in paying their tributes.

Prophet TB Joshua, as he was widely known, died on June 5, 2021, at the age of 57, shortly after conducting a live broadcast at the SCOAN headquarters in Lagos.

While the church did not disclose the exact cause of his death, reports later suggested he had suffered a stroke two months earlier and had undergone treatment in Turkey before returning to Nigeria.

Following his death, Evelyn Joshua, his wife of 31 years, was appointed leader of SCOAN in September 2021.

Her appointment initially met resistance from some senior members of the church, causing internal tensions. Despite the challenges, she has since taken up the mantle of leadership as Senior Pastor and continues to guide the church’s mission.

TB Joshua was one of Nigeria’s most influential and controversial religious figures, known for his healing services, charity work and large international following.
