Actor Emeka Ike has publicly criticised his son Michael Ike, his ex-wife Suzanne Emma and sex therapist Hauwa Jaruma over a video shared online.

The 53-year-old shared screenshots of a video posted by Jaruma showing his son Michael on a bed with the therapist.

The video was captioned, “Rehab video in Hausa by Emeka Ike’s first son Sean Micheal Ike,” and also featured a picture of the actor.

Reacting on Instagram on Friday, Emeka questioned why his name and image were linked to the content and demanded their immediate removal.

“JARUMA! JARUMA!! JARUMA!!! what the hell is this? What’s my name and picture got to do with this disgusting videos? Most definitely you’re looking for my trouble RIGHT?” he wrote.

He added, “If you know what’s good for you, remove my name and picture from all your rubbish contents of indecent posts immediately. I have nothing to do with your products and I dissociate myself from your brand.”

Emeka also addressed his son directly, expressing disappointment over his choices and recalling how he had insisted Michael complete his education before pursuing entertainment.

“Michael, I sent you to the university, and your mother pulled you out… encouraged you to become an influencer, singer and actor LIKE ME… SO, IS THIS IT?” he wrote.

The actor said he had secured opportunities abroad for his son to study and work, adding that he had many plans for him. He warned that his legal team was reviewing the situation and said he was praying for his son to change course.

The rift between Emeka and Michael has been public for some time. In a previous interview, Michael openly distanced himself from his father, stating that he does not want to be like Emeka Ike and does not want anything from him.

Michael also accused his father of repeatedly taking family issues to the media, a move he said damaged their relationship beyond repair.

Emeka Ike and Michael’s mother, Suzanne Emma, divorced in 2015 after years of legal disputes and public disagreements. They have four children together.

Neither Jaruma nor Michael has publicly responded to Emeka Ike’s latest comments as of the time of reporting.
