A video showing Senator Adams Oshiomhole giving a foot massage to an unidentified woman aboard a private jet has generated reactions on social media.
The clip, which first appeared on TikTok before being deleted by the original uploader, shows the Edo North senator seated inside a private jet while attending to the woman’s feet.
The footage has since gone viral and been reshared on platforms including X and Instagram.
The woman involved reportedly removed content from her social media accounts after the video went viral.
The video drew attention because of Oshiomhole’s past role as president of the Nigeria Labour Congress and his recent public comment that food prices in Nigeria had become “too cheap.”
Reacting on X, activist and lawyer Deji Adeyanju wrote, “A former textile worker now living like Pablo Escobar. Politics money is sweet.”
Human rights activist and former presidential candidate Omoyele Sowore also criticised the senator, saying, “When ‘Comrade’ Oshiomhole says food prices have dropped, he’s not speaking from the marketplace, he’s speaking from 30,000 feet. A man who can rent a private jet for personal errands lives in a different economic universe. How would someone so insulated from daily struggle know the price of garri, rice, or cooking oil?”
Activist Martin Otse, known as VeryDarkMan, questioned the senator’s source of income in a video reaction.
“These people no longer hide it. Before they did it behind our back, now they do it in our faces. How much is Adams Oshiomhole earning that he’s inside a private jet?” he said.
Other users also criticised the senator online. One X user wrote, “Wasting taxpayers’ money. Later they will tell you Nigeria is broke and citizens should tighten their belts.”
Another user called for his resignation, writing, “Senator Adams Oshiomhole should resign from his seat in the Senate. A senator in a private jet with a South African OnlyFans model. The optics are not good.”
Another comment read, “How much of our money is going to private jets, hotels and vacations instead of healthcare, education and infrastructure?”
Another user added, “If Nigeria was working, a senator behaving like this would be suspended immediately.”
Adams Oshiomhole has not issued a response to the video or the reactions as of the time of filing this report.
