Reactions have followed a meeting between President Bola Tinubu, Aliko Dangote and Femi Otedola over the economy.
The meeting, held on Sunday, was disclosed by Mr Otedola on Monday in a post on Instagram.
In the post, Otedola said discussions with the president focused on the economy and how ongoing reforms could benefit Nigerians.
“Yesterday, I spent Easter Sunday with our dear President, Bola Tinubu, and my bestie Aliko Dangote. We discussed the economy and how Nigerians can benefit from the reforms,” he wrote.
The post generated reactions from users on social media, with many questioning the outcome of the meeting.
Some users said the discussion did not address issues affecting citizens, while others said such meetings should involve broader engagement.
“Did you also discuss the killing… in Benue state?” one user wrote.
Another user said, “He should be discussing with the masses, because your discussions would be mostly based on personal and selfish interests.”
Some users also viewed the post as support for the president.
One comment read, “This post is clearly endorsing Bola Tinubu for another term.”
Others expressed support for the meeting and the individuals involved.
The meeting comes amid ongoing economic measures by the federal government, including efforts in the power sector and infrastructure.
