Actress Rachael Okonkwo has spoken about her views on marriage following a remark by colleague Zubby Michael on a movie set.
The exchange happened during a light moment on set where Zubby playfully teased Rachael about her success and relationship status.
In a video clip, the actors were seen hanging out alongside Lizzy Gold and others when Zubby jokingly took a swipe at her.
He mocked her for owning houses and a fleet of cars while still being single, saying: “This one don scare husband away, she don buy house and car. You go go Shiloh tyre”.
Rachael did not ignore the comment. She responded calmly, stating her position on relationships and marriage.
“I want to find a man who has found himself.”
According to her, she is not interested in being with someone for survival or support, but prefers a partner who is already grounded and self aware.
The exchange has since attracted attention on social media.
Rachael, known for her role in Nkoli Nwa Nsukka, has largely kept her personal life private and rarely comments on her relationships.
Zubby is known for roles in films such as Three Widows and Royal Storm. Both actors have appeared in several productions together, often drawing interest from fans about their off screen relationship.
