Former Big Brother Naija housemate Queen Mercy Atang and her husband David Oyekanmi have stirred fresh break-up rumours after unfollowing each other on Instagram.
The development comes months after the couple faced similar speculations in October 2024 when Queen deleted their wedding photos, unfollowed David, and removed his name from her bio.
In December, however, the reality TV star reunited with her husband in the UK, posting pictures and declaring she was “back to wifey duties.” She also reaffirmed her loyalty to him, describing herself as “loyal to his government” in a social media exchange.
David, who has also been spotted in recent photos without his wedding ring, has yet to respond to the latest rumours.
Earlier in June, Queen explained why she had unfollowed her husband and deleted his pictures from Instagram. According to her, the move was to shield her marriage from public scrutiny.
“I was just trying to take my relationship off social media. A lot of girls feel the need to slide into his DMs to say positive and negative things,” she said.
The couple tied the knot in March 2024 in a civil ceremony, months after holding their traditional marriage rites.
