Comedian and actor Woli Arole has paid a condolence visit to the family of late gospel singer Taiwo Adegbodu.
Taiwo, one-half of the Adegbodu twins, died in March. According to posts shared on Facebook at the time, the singer, who was a twin, passed away in the middle of the night.
Sharing moments from the visit on Instagram on Tuesday, Arole wrote, “We spent time to pray and encourage the Adegbodu twins!!!. Fans, Family and Friends, please put them in your prayers as well……… We will so miss brother Taye Adegbodu. Well done, Brother Kenny @adegbodu_twinsofficial”.
Gospel musician Yinka Ayefele previously visited the grieving family. In a video shared online, Yinka, who uses a wheelchair, is surrounded by others as he breaks down in tears at the twins’ residence.
Kehinde Adegbodu earlier shared the final moments of his twin brother, Taiwo. He said Taiwo came to his door around 11 p.m., complaining of chest pain. Taiwo reassured his wife that she did not need to follow them as they would return quickly. The brothers chatted on the way to the hospital and Taiwo even told the estate security not to close the gate.
At the hospital, Taiwo walked into the reception and told the doctor about the chest pain. While waiting for tests, he leaned back in his chair as if resting. Kehinde went to make a phone call and during that time, the doctor realised Taiwo had died.
