Tanzanian singer Juma Jux has finally met his son, Rakeem Mkambala, weeks after the boy was born in Canada.
Rakeem, born on August 24 to Juma and his wife Priscilla Ojo, could not be seen by his father at birth as the singer was unable to secure a visa to travel to Canada.
A video shared on Tuesday showed Priscilla and her mother, actress Iyabo Ojo, arriving in Tanzania to Juma grand welcome organised for them.
Videos from the event showed Juma embracing his wife and finally holding his son for the first time. The emotional reunion quickly went viral, with fans praising the singer for the warm reception.
Juma and Priscilla tied the knot in April 2025 in a lavish ceremony attended by celebrities from Nigeria and Tanzania. Their son Rakeem has already become a social media star, amassing over 140,000 followers on Instagram shortly after his birth.
